ACTION POINT: See yourself as an instrument in the hand of God.

“And the men of the place asked him of his wife; and he said, She is my sister: for he feared to say, She is my wife; lest, said he, the men of the place should kill me for Rebekah; because she was fair to look upon.” (KJV)

INSIGHT: Just like the case of Abraham and Isaac, our actions can set patterns for our children’s lives, though our children might not have seen us taking the actions.

ACTION POINT: Given the chances that your children will repeat your life’s patterns, decide to live today the kind of life you want your children to live tomorrow.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, please help me to set good precedents for my children, even in their absence. I ask in Jesus name. Amen.

INSIGHT: If you try to save a situation outside God’s will, sin is almost inevitable.

ACTION POINT: As much as you are expected to do what you can (within the limits of righteousness) to save a situation per time, always rely on God.

PRAYER: O God, I trust you absolutely to always save any ugly situation I find myself in. I thank you, Lord, in Jesus name. Amen.

INSIGHT: Notwithstanding how “difficult” our heavenly race may seem, God is able to, and will indeed, see us through.

ACTION POINT: Do not allow the challenges of the Christian walk and life’s journey discourage you. Keep “keeping on”.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, I know you are able to, and will, keep me from falling. I, therefore, declare, “I am victorious, in Jesus name. Amen.”
