TEXT: Proverbs 29:5
“A man that flattereth his neighbour spreadeth a net for his feet.” (KJV)
INSIGHT: Flattery is slippery. Do not get carried away by it.
ACTION POINT: Whenever people praise you, remind yourself that you are an imperfect mortal.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, please help me to always realise the imperfection of my mortality, that I may not lose direction of eternity. I ask in Jesus name. Amen.
